Interpretive Guided Tours

May 24, 2022
1 min read

Wow! The 8th grade from Springs Valley gave us a visit today to visit our Civil War Exhibit; Brother Against Brother - Orange County in the Civil War.

We gave interpretive tours to three different classes, with Social Media Coordinator Kenton Allbright sharing his Civil War Reenacting experience and pieces to provide an enthralling and interesting experience for the students.

We offer guided tours of all types to school and private groups, with general historic tours, focus on specific time eras, and can be filled with Historic Interpretation from our skilled staff and volunteers.

Contact us for information and more! We hope to see you soon!

The reenactor detail is what makes an interpretive tour land: students remember the gear and the voice much longer than they remember a caption on a wall, which is also why recording even a short segment of a tour is worth it for the schools that cannot travel. We build Reference to Video (https://referencetovideo.net/): give it a reference image or a piece of footage plus a prompt and it generates a coherent clip, which is how one good photo and a few seconds of footage become a postable update.
